February 10, 2019 - A finely produced and great quality wine. It is smokey, vividly acidic and just laden with cherry kirsch. Simply a beautiful expression of a wine and worth finding. $ 20 something .... really ?
October 30, 2014 - Disappointing. Nice nose, but a very harsh, unpleasant finish...a lingering bite.
January 5, 2014 - been sitting on this bottle for almost three years after the last one I drank, which I thought was fantastic. its time to drink any left now. wine has gotten harsher, but still quite enjoyable. much more complex with some spice. great wine and vintage, but time to drink.
December 8, 2013 - This is drinking beautifully now. Great balance and little evidence of he 'oakiness' noted in earlier reviews. A little less of the veggie notes than some other vintages from WW but still very pleasing on the nose and in the mouth. MAkes me wish I had more of the 2005.
September 28, 2012 - excellent and long spicy finish. wow.
August 20, 2012 - Still very fresh
June 21, 2012 - tasted as part of a 10 year vertical - this was a blockbuster when young, from a warm vintage. Now it's gently maturing into a sophisticated, delicious wine. Coffee and cherries on the nose, it slowly and irresistibly draws you in like a good David Lynch movie. Round deep fruit, dried herbs and leafyness pervade the palate, and the finish promises more development to come. For quite a few years. My joint favorite of the tasting. Full write up on:

October 25, 2011 - Great food wine with some good acidity. Will either decant the next one or sit on it for a couple of years.
September 18, 2011 - very smooth-fruit has softened considerably and slight chocolate on finish
March 7, 2010 - very well rounded.
