June 12, 2021 - Red fruit on the nose. Palate is primary but enjoyable. Slightly tart finish lingers with a hint of spice.

November 13, 2020 - Purple crimson color. Deep and brooding at first, with a bit of a stiff upper lip. Air helps to relax and deepen the dark red and black berry, limestone, licorice and evergreen notes.
A brawny showing right now (especially considering its modest 12.5 ABV), but excellent intensity and energy is well matched by the pure, dark fruit just itching to burst out. I love the power here for a Bourgogne. Finishes with a fistful of grip and tension. Drinks like a 1er and very well crafted for its class. Give this 2-3 years to integrate. 92++ (93+?) conservative points. -
