January 18, 2024 - Very nice, clear purity of fruit, a bit of Zinfandel dustiness and has nice acidity. Avoids being overoaked or overly alcoholic as well.

September 11, 2023 - Limited acidity, surprisingly. Lots of red and dark fruit but fairly unbalanced. Disappointing. Properly cellared since purchasing on release.

September 8, 2023 - I love the Montafis and particular this vintage, but this bottle came across as surprisingly oaky right after opening. It would have benefitted from opening it an hour or 2 before dinner.
