December 31, 2017 - Crisp. Well balanced fruit and dryness. Not a light champagne but a delicious sparkling wine

March 23, 2013 - Bright and sparkling. Great bubbles. Nose has berry hints and just a slight hint of yeast. Palate is rather like scraping your tongue with sandpaper but not being able to choose the grit you like. Everything is burnt and smokey with nothing else intersting in it. I suppose there is some cherry, tart strawberry and tabacco but it is not mixed well. Not undrinkable but definitely unenjoyable. Every bottle of this seems to be different.

January 16, 2013 - Almost an amber color. Light pretty bubbles. Light strawberries on the nose. Fruity palate. Strawberries, blueberry jam flavor. Bright and fun. Does not clean up on the plate. Light yeasty finish that is pleasant and unassuming. Good.
