January 22, 2020 - Cut green apple on the nose. Perhaps a bit more muted. A sleepy malo which was just creating enough C02 so he adjust for CO2 and they are all more in focus and more mineral. Only 25% new oak. Not bottled yet - hence probably why its muted. More pronounced on the nose with a touch of Brazil nut. Most of the vineyard was planted in the 1930s, with 20% being planted in the 1950s. Round and creamy on the palate. Lots of depth but I think I like the Charms more. Both are outstanding.

January 13, 2020 - Tasted next to Domaine Ballot-Millot's 1er Cru Les Genevrières. This is already quite expressive, with notes of pure fruit, some floral notes, crushed stones, herbs. On the palate good acidity, quite dense and generous, but good energy and lift. Mineral, persistent finish. 91-92+
