November 18, 2023 - Typical Rockford Basket Press. Full bodied dark red cherries soft tannins in perfect balance. Beautiful!

September 30, 2023 - Deep purple/ruby color with only a little bit of aging at age 21. High viscosity, almost thick. This is still explosive, but starting to also show a touch of tertiary notes, but it‘s mostly jammy black fruit (black cherries, elderberries), also some elderflowers, menthol, tobacco, leather, some meaty notes, too, there is also a dark mineral note. It's full-bodied but with impeccable balance, the 15.5% alcohol are hidden under the freshness and wealth of fruit. There is still medium acidity and lower-medium tannin that has melted of nicely. Long finish with plenty of freshness. Another beautiful bottle of the Rockford Basket Press. While I don‘t drink these wines often anymore, I keep coming back to this specific wine, I think it‘s great.

May 21, 2023 - Strong fruit, integrated, rich, jammy. Elegant and as spectacular as ever. Will easily last another 5 years but drinking at its peak now

July 24, 2022 - Spicy, jam, port on the palate. Surprisingly strong alcohol on nose and palate. Still very robust in colour and body after 20 years. Rich. Will easily last another 5-10 years
