October 22, 2023 - Good can expression but not overly complex or rich. No real Aroma (mushrooms?), for my no fruit or a floral bouquet. Classic rich, purple collar, call, medium legs, low acidity.

Doubt this will enrich with age

July 9, 2022 - PnP’d. Dark purple color. Very tight nose and body. Big alcohol which was unattractive, mainly on the finish. Dark fruits with minimal oak. Needs age and some character.

March 23, 2022 - PnP, consumed over 3 hours. Appearance: Clear, dark ruby. Nose: Clean, pronounced intensity with developing aromas of black olive, capsicum, blackberry, black raspberry, pomegranate, cooking spice, and violet - quite dynamic giving a different nuance with each sniff. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid, medium tannin, has the stuffing to handle the 14.9% abv, medium+ bodied, pronounced intensity with developing flavors of dark fruit - blackberry and black raspberry, oak influenced spice notes with back-end capsicum and black olive notes and a long finish. Overall an outstanding which carries it's higher alcohol very well - great balance, exceptional complexity, intensity, and length. Drinking well with a little air now, has the stuffing to be even better in 2-3 years and good for 5+ after that.

January 22, 2021 - Last 3 notes are spot on. Nothing to add except that, IMHO, this as good or better (leaning toward the latter) than Cabs that are 2+ times the price.

December 25, 2020 - Christmas wine with prime rib with all the fixin’s. This wine is already showing off the Washington terroir and fruit already. Big and rich without being too much for food. Tremendous backbone and structure. Just tastes, smells, feels well made. Certainly can lay awhile but a bottle decant perks this guy right up.

    December 8, 2020 - 100% Cabernet, Randy Dunn winemaker.
Medium nose shows sage, dark fruit, vanilla extract. Palate is darker, brooding, coffee bean, espresso tones, black plum. Big but smooth structure. Drink now or age.
