July 26, 2023 - With Luke in Ireland on arrival in Kerry. Lovely with substantial mouthfeel. Didnt immediately show as an obvious pinot due to its bigness (not fruitiness necessarily). Evolved over time in the glass. I would either decant this one well in advance to let the sous bois shine or wait 5-10 years.
This will be a lovely wine. -

July 23, 2022 - Purchased at the domaine. Pop and pour bc I was worried about these sitting in a hot car after many days of car travel. Lovely upon opening, lovely after 2 days open. On the nose: that distinctive Vosne spice with earthy, floral notes. Lovely red fruit but a touch of strawberry liqueur now. On the palate: lovely acidity and density, more sweet red fruit and soft tannin on the earthy spicy finish.

November 11, 2021 - Very nice burgundy, and very typical vosne romanee. Easy to enjoy. Needs 30-60 minutes in the glass.
I have had 5-6 bottles of Michel Gros and they have always been very nice. This wine is actually quite close to their VR 1:er cru. -
