August 19, 2023 - Fresh and vibrant. Popped and poured. Medium bodied.
October 29, 2022 - This is fantastic and a great representation of premium California Pinot Noir. Intense and ripe red fruit and well integrated high quality oak.
August 20, 2022 - Tantalizing to the taste buds. So much bright and vibrant high toned red fruit it makes my salivary glands hurt. Decanted for 30 minutes. Drinking great now. Burghounds need not apply as it is a new world juicy fruit bomb.
August 6, 2021 - Nice drinking pinot. Not as full bodied as the Sonoma blends but easy drinking
August 1, 2021 - Ready to drink after 10 minutes in glass. Classic Kosta Browne.
June 1, 2021 - Bright red cherry and strawberry fruit with notes of forest floor on the finish. Benefits from an hour decant to fully enjoy the Pinot Noir.
May 29, 2021 - Staying with my previous score of 93 points.
Clean, bright fruit forward and well balanced.
May 3, 2021 - I know this is a lovely wine from my previous tasting notes. As an experiment, paired this evening with pasta and red sauce. Not a good idea at all. Thought the acidity in the tomato sauce would pair well with the acidity in the Pinot. Next time will pair with a Tuscan or Piedmontese wine.
April 4, 2021 - Excellent. Cherry and a bit of bramble with some frisse and a bright finish. The single vineyards are outstanding but don’t overlook the incredible appellation wines that are often the better value. Extremely good now, better in 2 years if you have the patience. I did not and drank all of mine! 94+
February 2, 2021 - Slightly extracted cherry, raspberry on the nose and the palate, blooms into a lovely cherry, strawberry greens, and orange rind on the palate with a long finish fading into a bit of brush. This opens up beautifully in the glass over about 30 minutes and I’d recommend a decant to serve to others
