October 4, 2022 - Purple in color. 14.6% ABV. Sublime nose of red and black fruits, licorice and pepper. Medium body with mouth watering acidity and tremendous balance. Dark, juicy fruits in spades. Blackberry, raspberry liqueur, cocoa and pepper on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish. Lots to like here. This will drink well for another 2-3 years.

May 14, 2022 - Lovely Zin. Dark and full of fruit. Reminded me more of the Limerick Lane version than the Carlisle (that I prefer). Worthy of the positive reviews.

August 24, 2021 - Purple in color. 14.6% ABV. Gorgeous nose of red and black fruits, anise, flowers and pepper. Medium to full bodied with perfect acidity. Rich and elegant with exceptional balance. Black cherry, raspberry liqueur, boysenberry and pepper on the the palate. The finish is exceptionally long and supple. Just a fabulous Zinfandel from a historic vineyard. Best over the next 2-4 years.

August 7, 2020 - Had open for an hour. Aromas of boysenberry, blueberry, black pepper, cherry and huckleberry. Flavors of boysenberry, blueberry, raspberry, pomegranate and a bit of wild cherry. Ends with a nice 25-30 second finish with blueberry notes. Lot do great fruit on this. Enjoyable.
