December 20, 2009 - The bottle was filled with concentrated dark fruit flavors, almost to the point of a grainy texture, with balancing acidity. Somehow the wine was somewhat complex but not at all subtle. Although the community drinking window is 2005 to 2010, I did not taste anything that caused me to think the wine is about to fall apart.
We liked it, but I doubt that we will buy more. We are holding one more bottle; it is currently scheduled for drinking in 2011. -

August 9, 2006 - Less body than the 2000 and the nose was alot of raspberrys, smoke and a tone of green vegetable. The taste was a little light but there where raspberrys, cherries, smoke and some herbs. I must say I liked the 2000 alot better.
