Community Tasting Notes 8

September 17, 2019 - Popped and poured. Initially was tight, but pleasant. After being open for over an hour, it improved. Front fruit is largely gone, but nice leather, forest notes. Tannins are smooth. Don't think this will improve further, drink now.

    Tasted non blind.

Garnet color in the glass, pretty clear looking. Nose of flowers, berries and plums. Flavors of berries, plums and raspberries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink now.

Tasted non blind. Opened and glass decanted about 30 minutes before serving. Followed over 90 minutes.

Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of potpourri, red raspberries and red berries. Flavors of red raspberries, red berries and a bit of red cherries. Medium to tart acidity, medium tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink over the next few years with a short decant.

March 5, 2011 - Medium to full bodied Pinot with beautiful barely translucent garnet color. Offering a very pleasant nose of red fruit and spring bouquet. Well integrated flavors with the heft of new world Pinot. After 45 seconds the slightest tinge of bitter herbs, which disappeared once paired with food.

May 14, 2010 - Drink one now and you'll find a well developed OPN.
