  January 13, 2024 - Ruby in color, the nose is expressive with bright cherries and currants. Candle wax too. Bright acidity, beautiful, minerally palate with lots of cherries, black currants, coffee beans, forest floor. Powerful yet elegant, grippy tannins and vanilla with spice and peppery notes in the long ending. Incredibly approachable already - just let the bottle open for a hour and this is already great, although 2-3 more years will definitely do it good. A great Super Tuscan from a not so-great year. Highly recommended!

  December 26, 2023 - Probably drank this a bit too young needed a heavy decant. Even after the decant nose was somewhat muted with red fruit and some vanilla. Palate was way better than the nose black cherry, plum, oak and vanilla. Smooth tannins and mild acidity. 92 points.

  December 18, 2023 - This was nice and complex, but very ripe. If you're an amarone fan, you'll love it. If not, you might pass on this one

  January 28, 2023 - Fabulous wine -- full mouth feel, dark fruit and earthy tones... We enjoyed with a fresh tomato based pasta. Last sips with a choc chip cookie were magic with the chocolate. A fine example of a full bodied yet not over powering wine...
