January 11, 2024 - Not decanted, but probably should have, but the wine nevertheless delivered green apple, lemon grass, and pear on the attack that then segued into a finish of a kiss of vanilla with some hazelnut. The creamy mouthfeel hints at the time spent on lees. If opening now, decant. Otherwise, hold for another 2 to 3 years. 13.2% alc. With shrimp and oyster casserole over ham. 01.11.24. Recommended.

November 23, 2023 - Long and lean with apple up front, a complex and fluid mineral and chalk core, finishes with really good length on straightline acidity. Reductive at pop, struck match / diesel fuel, blew off fairly quickly. This is absolutely killer, no surprise that when I went back in a week the shop had been cleaned out, a steal at around $25.

June 12, 2023 - Popped and poured. Complex aroma includes elements of lichee, stone fruit, pear, and smoke. White fruit dominates up front, tingly mid palate, with tangerine and minerals in the finish. Rich, layered, complex, firm backbone. Still youthful with plenty of years left. Excellent.

April 7, 2023 - 4th and last bottle, probably drank them all too soon but no regrets. Just how I want my Chardonnay, bright and nervy, with a solid acidic spine. Love what Vincent does with this grape.

December 18, 2021 - Pop and pour. Initially tasted on its own at cellar temperature (55F) and then with a slight chill.
Used a few ounces to make dinner and then enjoyed with food (orecchiette in a haddock, white wine, and tomato sauce, in case you were wondering).
Light straw color.
Nose offers some flint and green apple. Hint of pear as well.
Initial sip provides a rich, round mouthfeel with acidity that follows and cuts through the richness. Nice mix of citrus peel, lemon, tart green apple and saline notes.
The wine has an inviting mélange of flavors that keeps one going back to the glass for another sip.
Saved about 2 oz and re-tasted the following day. Still going strong.2 people found this helpful Comment
