    October 21, 2021 - cork: pear, juicyfruit
smell: something green in there like mint or grass. Yeah, grass. not a strong smell.
taste: full bodied, carmel, good body, like what I like mostly. Maybe medium-full . apple . hint of caramel. dry. medium-high acidity. Good balance. Probably really high quality. Second favorite of mine to seomthing more pefectly round and oily.pairs great with pastalamurphy. Carmel. More buttery and woody. Less fruity. More middle ground but pairing worked great.
    R: Buy again.

September 3, 2021 - Chilled and decanted. Creamy, slightly nutty nose. Crisp, seductive and round on the palate with some butterscotch and fresh pineapple. A fairly hedonistic finish but overall this is very balanced. Drinking very nicely now but I don’t think this is a long ager.

March 27, 2021 - Tropical fruits, melon, citrus, with a hint of coconut. Medium acidity with a bit of creaminess, maybe from the malolactic fermentation. It was delightful with a shrimp scampi pasta dish.

August 11, 2020 - Silver-gold in color, exotic tropical citrus and melon notes, warming vanilla notes emerge with time, soft finish. Balanced with moderate acidity. Crispness seems to be more mineral-driven than acidity-related, with the chalky, saline inspired minerality common to Carneros. Had the fuller- bodied 2018 Sangiacomo about a week ago, and prefer this vineyard designate.

June 17, 2020 - First time trying this Chard. Wow! The nose was different than most Chards. There was definitely some citrus there...but more tropical fruits emerged. We got a lot of melon flavor (maybe honeydew?) The palate was bursting with flavors of the fruits but also toasted vanilla and caramel. Heavier mouthfeel with definite oak - but not overpowering at all. The finish was longer than most Chards with enough acidity to hold up throughout. Have already repurchased more!
