January 15, 2018 - This just keeps getting better and better, or there was significant bottle variation. This last one was a classic ! Outstanding power, elegance and balance. Wish I had bought more.

May 25, 2015 - Lots of oak. Decent fruit. Mouth drying tannins after being decanted for 2 hours. I'll pass next time. Luckily it was discounted.....

September 7, 2014 - Ripe, dense, powerful. Classically built with herbal red fruits, gripping tannin and good length. Seems still to be very young. Will the fruit last?

September 6, 2014 - My first bottle bottle must have been flawed because this one tasted nothing like it. This had beautiful aromas of prunes, indian spices and leather. Fruit was still quite present and tanins were nice and smooth. Mellow and powerful. Perfect to drink right now.

May 15, 2014 - Still a lot of tannins in this nice bottle of Barbaresco. If i had more i would wait 3 - 5 years before uncorking the next one. Guess the drinking window is wrong.
