April 8, 2024 - Not as nice as I was expecting. Bit thin and bland.
March 14, 2024 - Ok. I liked it more than others. Lean yes. But has the cola flavors and violets. With food, a red sauce over meat,, it became peppery and dark fruit. A very interesting transformation. I also enjoyed it dipping. Understated yes. But very nice

September 16, 2023 - Drank this over two days. This is a bit lean, slight fruit. Nothing wrong with it but not exciting either.
July 27, 2023 - Drunk over two evenings. First night to accompany cheese with friends. Second night with beef pie.
Dark crimson. Gentle red berry fruit on the nose. The palate is very good.....brambles, damson, licquorice. Generally quite young but very approachable. Very good.
May 8, 2023 - Redcurrant and spice acidity relatively high very dry tannin backbone good length great value but only a 3rd division Ridge hence doesn’t disappoint for £25 a go
April 15, 2023 - Light, elegant for a Zin. Still fruitdriven.
March 8, 2023 - A medium to dark bright red. Very prominent fruited nose, which to me was like black-cherry yogurt rather than red berries as many seem to sense. Perhaps it was the underlying sweetness as this was extremely pleasant, smooth, plush and highly tasty, but without being absurd. A nice change from our usual fare and matched well with braised pork in cider.
