March 4, 2024 - Fully resolved and silky. Fruitier than the 2011 Riserva that we finished right before. We're coming down to the last few bottles of this. It might be my favorite house wine in the last 10 years.

February 1, 2024 - This is more-or-less fully resolved. We've been through 2 cases at this point and it has been a great dinner companion every time. Exactly the mix of savory and fruit notes you want from Sangiovese.

    August 12, 2023 - Dark red color.
Smell is very fruity with vanilla and ripe dark fruits. Absolut notes of ceder and herbs.
    Very nice chianti.

February 28, 2023 - Dairy, violet, licorice, cinnamon, red berries, and rose hip. Elegant and classic. The fruit sweetness is maybe just a tad too pronounced for my taste, but there are loads of tannin and acids to provide balance. Still has some way to go before reaching full maturity and developing creaminess, but it drinks well even so, especially with food. Drink 2025-2030. 91+ points.

Retasted June '23, with similar notes, but I am increasingly confident that this wine will improve with a couple of years in the cellar.

February 22, 2023 - Dark ruby with rim clearing
Medium plus aromas of ripe red and black cherry with marinara/ leather and dark floral notes - very savory in nature
Medium plus bodied with palate of ripe red cherry with green notes and amaro-like quality
Medium plus acidity with medium plus coarse/sandy tannins and medium alcohol - medium length driven by fruit and tannins
Very nice Chianti - more complex than most
Drink now or 3-5 yrs - maybe longer
