November 8, 2023 - 2.5 hour decant. a lovely young Barbaresco. Loads of strawberry and cherry. The tannins are strong, but the air helps. It’s integrating nicely, and honestly just delicious. These wines continue to impress beyond their price range, which unfortunately is creeping up.

November 27, 2022 - Piemonte: Back to the truffling!; 11/24/2022-12/3/2022 (Wineries and various restaurants): Just awesome. I can’t wait for our visit here later this week. Every wine I’ve had I’ve really liked thus far. It’s all of the style I enjoy - all elegance and precision and great fruit but very balanced. Enjoyable.

September 16, 2022 - Rubino luminoso limpido, naso frutta blu e rossa, cenni speziati e minerali, bocca tannino fine, salino, fruttato e beva compulsiva. Molto giovane ma proprio buono.

May 7, 2022 - Sweet fruit on the nose. Pretty obvious this is a warmer vintage with some advanced fruit, especially on the nose. Cherries, raspberries, rosehip, dried roses, tar, menthol, dried herbs, leather and balsamico. The nose is beautiful and generous.
The palate brings high acidity and fine tannins, slightly polished. The sweet fruit dominates. This can easily be approached now and I'm fairly certain I'll consume the remaining bottles within 5-6 years or so.
For a vintage that has its challenges this is really good and well made.

April 30, 2022 - Italian wine night. Decanted this for a few hours. Ruby color - great tastes of tar, roses, leather. Want to try more from this producer.
