May 29, 2018 - pale yellow with a greenish tinge, floral citrus and apple nose, citrus and apple/pear fruit, some acidity, long spicy finish. Good with pan roated halibut.

April 18, 2016 - Extraordinary straw green color. Chalky, sweet and mature apple notes on the nose with soft mineral underpinning. On the palate, mature, but by no means declining, with a rich, smooth honeyed layer. It finishes much the same way. Very good California chard drinking at its peak.

March 25, 2016 - Beautiful deep gold color. Crushed flowers and rocks on the nose. Vibrant, rich and fresh on the palate, honey flecked, soft and rounded (without any buttery fat) on the palate with still a brace of good minerality slips down, refreshing and lingering. Balanced, very good example of Cali Chard.

December 20, 2010 - may be the best Chardonnay i've tasted. I'll confess I'm not a white wine lover, but wines like this could change my thinking. When I do drink whites I've always been partial to Burgundies, Chablis and Riesling because I don't like the heavy fatness of American Chardonnay's. But this wine has the best of all worlds...the lushness of an American Chard while maintaining a delicate character. And it's very complex owing to a strong minerality.

Nothing short of fabulous from the first whiff to the last sip.
