February 24, 2024 - Nice pink color, with strawberry nose and hints of oak. Nice mousse and acidity, with deep flavors of strawberries and raspberries, white peppers, oaky ending. Light mousse also, and some Belle papers. A decent champagne, definitely did the job. Great QPR.

Bebidos durante jantar no restaurante japonês Tetsu, Recife-PE.

August 20, 2022 - Retail $50. 35% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Noir (red-style vinification), 20% Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay. Consistent notes with the last bottle, but I might need to knock it up a notch.

July 22, 2022 - Retail $50. 35% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Noir (red-style vinification), 20% Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay. Along with Mailly Grand Cru, Montaudon has been one of our go-to champagnes for years. Montaudon, also like Mailly, is a co-op and twenty years ago, we could buy both for more than half of what they sell for now. One of the darker rosé champagnes on the market with plenty of red berry fruit, hints of yeastiness, and just a touch of nuttiness on the nose. The palate is full-bodied and rich, with plenty of fruit, a lovely sparkle, and balancing acidity. Yup, still one of our favorites.

October 21, 2021 - From a bottle with the disgorgement identifier of "LYM169B125201," this nonvintage sparkling rosé is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier. Its color was produced by adding still Pinot Noir wine to the blend. Medium salmon hued and with an active small bead, it delivers an attractive package of citrus, strawberries, toasted bread and almonds on both the nose and palate. Light-to-medium-bodied and with good lift, it stays solid in the middle and concludes with a crisp, medium-length finish. This particular bottling should be at its best over the next couple of years. Drink now-2023.

October 10, 2020 - Clean aroma, stone fruit, high acidity, clean palate, medium finish. Below average rose champagne. Not good qpr.

November 21, 2019 - Tart cherry, lemon, and mandarin orange commingle, framed by medium-high acidity. A faint smoky note adds complexity to the elegance.
