September 10, 2021 - Salmon with hints of orange, fading to pink at rim. Medium legs. Aromas are red fruit dominant: sour cherry, cherry, cranberry, raspberry, red currant. Hints of earth and animal: forest floor, dust, a bit of meat or leather. Spice is minimal; maybe a hint of clove and fennel. On the palate, less intensity but still compelling because of all that's occurring with the wine. Medium body, satin and smooth texture. Medium plus finish, Medium plus acidity. Tasted over 4 days and very little fading. Great acid. Seems to be Mataro/Grenache blend with the former adding that animal/earthy note. Apparently whole cluster fermentation. Read that whole cluster can add character, complexity, aromatics. This wine is a good example of that. At $23 with tax and shipping, QPR definitely below average. Still, an interesting splurge and one of the better rose' wines we have had this year. Drink now, although the wine may be fine until early 2022.

September 5, 2021 - Pale salmon color with a fresh raspberry, strawberry, peach, citrus and a saline mineral character. It's drinking better than I remember my first bottle being. In my experience this Rosé ages gracefully and pick up additional character

July 5, 2021 - Strawberry, slight peach?, nice salinity, minerality, floral, good acidity. Bright. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.

July 4, 2021 - This is a mind-bendingly good California rosé. Loved it, and the ode to Lulu, who always had the benchmark rosé of the world.

June 21, 2021 - Quite good. Strawberry and minerals with a pleasant level of acidity. Not sweet, but refreshing on a warm day.
