October 13, 2022 - Dark red at the core, translucent at the edges. Bright berry and spice aromas. Bright, spicy fruit on the palate, cherries, raspberries. Smooth tannins, bright acidity, good balance. Finishes a bit hot with black cherries. Over the course of 45-60 minutes, it switched to brighter and lusher and then became muddled. Nice enough on opening, but I'd drink up. Score given for first 30 minutes.

February 10, 2009 - Very smooth with lots of blackberry with dark cherry, a little burnt sugar and vanilla. Good balance. It is either a shame, or a blessing for the people like us that know about David Coffaro, that he is not more well known. I have never had a bad wine from them.
