  January 12, 2015 - One of those long-lost singleton bottles from the back of the cellar, definitely past peak, but still surprisingly drinkable even now -- tannins are "well-mellowed," or more accurately nearly gone, but there's more fruit than I would have expected, typical jammy Zin on the nose and finish. Not bad!

  February 7, 2010 - Nice deep berry nose with some oak. Hit of a little tart acid and tannins on palate, then some dark berry's, perhaps leather, and also some significant background oak. finish is a little peppery, but subtle. Overall not bad, drinking solo a little harsh, but with food, smooths out and berry note more pronounced. For price, not bad, likely better Zin's out there.

  June 1, 2008 - enjoyed this very much... pleasant nose, if not as potent as I like, sufficient body, but little short on finish... reasonable value in a time that good Zin is tough to find.
