October 3, 2021 - The 2017 Cockburn Vinyard Syrah is exceptional! Big mouthfilling fruit/consentration and long finish. Just tasted at Dundee and later at home. Big blackberry taste and extended finish. If you think this is a 4 star - let it breathe for an hour or so and enjoy a 5 star wine. Big fruit with the necessary acid balance to make this great. Glycerides provide the viscosity to support a prolonged finish. This is a classic well developed fruit bomb!

August 21, 2021 - Wonderful. All about the rocks funk. But attenuated so very approachable. Just the right blend of dark fruit and umami. Highly recommend.
