August 4, 2023 - Decanted and let breath for two hours. One of the lightest zins I’ve ever had but with a surprising backbone. Flavors of grapefruit and raspberry with hints of herbs and nose of blackberries a a little vanilla. If I had another bottle I would let it sit for up to two years max but in a fun drinking spot now…with the right amount of air.

December 21, 2022 - Great Zin wtih some spiceness. Light but with great mouthfeel and balance. Went great with Italian
December 17, 2022 - Lighter body than I typically look for in a Zinfandel. Almost pinot-like.
May 1, 2022 - A nose of bold sweet black cherry and spice, dark garnet in color. A full bodied Zin, with black cherry, cranbury, peppery flavors on finish. www.winelx.com
January 6, 2022 - Another superb effort from Carlisle. I think this is very good now but could benefit from 2 more years in the cellar. Amazing depth of aromas, strong herb and blackberry in the nose. The flavors of dark fruits - blackberry and black cherries - along with an earthy tone and fine tannins make this really special. Good long finish is an added bonus.
November 16, 2021 - Great early drinker. First sip is relaxed but with some intensity and red fruited structure. Medium finish. Almost soft but not flabby. Really enjoyed it and will be ordering more Dupratt as early drinkers while letting my other Carlisle rest.
August 23, 2021 - Really easy to drink. Light, bright and delicious.
August 20, 2021 - Popped and poured. Black raspberry, cranberry, spice and vanilla aromas and flavors. Finishes with good length. Medium bodied. A pretty wine. Served with tomato, corn, arugula and fontina cheese pizza.
