January 2, 2011 - I wish I had more of this fantastic wine. Intense fruit, round mouthfeel, slightly spicy, drinking perfectly right now. Best Zin I think I've ever had.

May 15, 2010 - Big, chewy, fruit forward, big finish. Lovely wine.

December 31, 2009 - Very nice wine for the occasion. Blackberries, bacon and cedar on the nose. Big alcohol at 15.8%, but it came across as remarkably balanced. smooth tannins produce rich and filling mouth-feel. Seemed well integrated. Perhaps some of the excess alcohol has had time to mellow. Drinking exceptionally well now. wish I had more.

October 30, 2009 - Way dusty, but opens to more fruit over time.
Good grief - it's been a long time since my last post... I apologize, new family member is taking mucho time.
Reminds me very much of Christopher Creek on both the nose and general mouthfeel.
More hot on the finish than I would expect for a 2004. Unusually so.
I think I'm expecting more fruit to balance out the pepper, but it's not quite there.
Overall I like it - even more so after it opens up - but I will need to revise on day 2 for a more accurate reading
