January 1, 2024 - Incredibly disappointing. Nice bottle of wine but at that price, I got taken.
December 18, 2023 - Feels a bit compact and firm at this stage. Worth forgetting about for a few more years to see if it shows better. A bit disappointing for the price.
October 22, 2023 - This is excellent Barolo made in a lighter style, which I prefer. Red cherry fruit, touch of tar, moderate tannins. Young but approachable now but will get better with age.
June 9, 2023 - Beautiful nose with wood, cherries and hint of truffles. Still young so the tannins are a bit rough. Great fruit and perfect level of acidity for a good Barolo. Next bottle won’t be open until 2026.

April 14, 2023 - A solid 91. Structure/texture-wise this is pretty perfect for me. Nebbiolo acid and tannin, but also some definate velvety impressions. Nose and palate were more earthy and cola, with some mint and citrus. Loved this - AFTER 2hr decant, but not closed imho.

November 28, 2022 - Cherry, licorice, truffle, vitamin, tar, and balsa. Medium-plus bodied with a velvety texture and racy acidity. Cherry, cinchona, black tea, and menthol accent the tannic finish. Best with a meal, one should expect such a youthful structure and temper their expectations accordingly (92-94 pts). Drink 2026+
November 20, 2022 - Beautiful nose of violets and floral arrangements, menthol and strawberries. Mouthwateringly acidic and mouth puckeringly tannic, but delicious. After a couple hours decant this started to open and blossom, some cherry and strawberry fruit. Great balance and grip. Loads of potential, this is going to be a stunner in a decade or two.
September 21, 2022 - Boy, this is painfully young (to be expected) but I wanted to try some 2016 action. Drank over 4 days and it held up well till that last day where it lost some steam. Beautiful nose of cherry, tar. Palate is very tannic, cherry, earth and real solid acidity, medium to full body. There is a lot of depth under there, somewhere… It’s a monster right now but it’s also tasty. Excellent deal for some quality 2016.
