January 12, 2024 - Blackberries, dark currants, black cherries, plums, tobacco, leather, cedar. Had some left two days after opening and it was even better. Still young. Friend opened this and I knew it would be early.
November 26, 2023 - Bought off the list at 111 Chop House in Worcester MA. Decanted tableside and open up nicely over 2 hours. For a relatively young wine it was very approachable. Initially dark fruited, more chocolate notes became more forward. Price was very reasonable for $126 on the list.
November 16, 2022 - Medium plus nose is classic, baking spice, dark florals, cassis, espresso, mocha, graphite. Palate matches, a little more standard. Well done, I would hold for development.
September 22, 2022 - Drank at Papa’s Steakhouse. Double decanted. Wine rocked right off the start. Deep dark berry’s on the nose and taste. Long finish.
August 17, 2022 - Smooth as only a Napa Cabernet can be. Without a doubt a quality wine and enjoyable, but missing that special oomph that the best Napa Cabernet provide.
June 21, 2022 - Nose of fresh red capsicum with notes of charred vegetables, barbecue smoke, and barbecue sauce. Palate shows flavours of blackberry, rosemary, and black pepper. Fine-grained tannin and mild acidity, with a touch of astringency on the finish.
February 20, 2022 - deep bright ruby color; blackberry ganache, mint in the nose; takes an hour or more to open up, but lush, plentiful black fruit, cassis, black cherry notes on the palate, with a hint of cinnamon in the long lingering aftertaste.
January 14, 2022 - No notes. Just quick impressions. PnP and 30 minutes in the glass. Nkce wine with good balance.
