January 15, 2023 - Drank over two days. Very nice nose, dark fruit and spice. Tart on the pallet with some tannins. Weak fruit and no spice. The taste does not match the nose.
November 1, 2022 - CTers not exactly showering this wine with love, save for one or two exceptions. I think I first encountered this some forty years ago (I know that ages me), and I think my response today is pretty much as it was then: meaty, earthy, rich, and spicy and what is not to like about that for the little that it costs?

July 26, 2022 - Nice budget Cote du Rhone. Dark, rich, extracted rhone wine. Cheap but honest. Nothing artificial about this wine, just not the most refined/complex. Musky man cave vibes, baseball glove leather, oak, bourbon, leather, dark fruit. Balanced tannins, and low-medium acidity. A bit coarse but for the price it's not bad at all. Good bistro wine. Cheap steak, burgers, chicken, etc.. Simple bistro food. Replace your over extracted grocery store cali red with this. Also would be a good cooking wine. Coq au vin all the way.
