March 1, 2023 - Rich, oily, low alcohol (which is very counter intuitive), seen quite some oak and low acidity. Very interesting to taste but not compareable to other wines of Gonon

February 23, 2023 - Ultra-rare, only 0.1 hectare, vines planted in 1890 on Gneiss in Saint-Jean-de-Muzols as table grapes. The vines were previously tended by local legend Raymond Trollat, who sold his vineyards to the Gonon brothers in 2005. Organic viticulture, aged in older wood on the fine lees for 11 months with regular bâtonnage. Good weight and body in spite of its light alcoholic weight (11.5% ABV), spicy honeysuckle, peach, dried pineapple, jasmin blossom, silky texture, mild bitters, minerally depth, soft but fresh acidity provides a certain elegance on the finish. At restaurant De Lage Vuursche, Lage Vuursche, NL.

July 13, 2022 - Golden fruit. Pretty on the surface. Easy to drink. Could use a bit more in the depth department.

July 3, 2022 - July 4 Weekend Wines with Buds (Washington, DC): Loved this. Chunky and ripe on the nose with pineapple and peach, honey. But the palate has some really nice acidity, complementing the juicy, tropical fruit. Honeyed white tea mixes with crushed rocks and some saline. Delicious, focused, highly enjoyable.

October 30, 2021 - Nice aromas of pineapple and melon. Palate was bright and while the flavors had that melon and tropical fruit thing going, it also had some good acidity. In years past, the acidity has, at times, been soft. This was a lot nicer.
