May 30, 2020 - Classic Haut Brion, earthy, med-to-full bodied, currants, and cherries. Comparing with other vintages I have had in the past, this is on the lighter end. Still young and will age well.

February 1, 2020 - Hefty and classy aromas of dark fruits, leather, earth etc. Soft, meaty and almost compot like in the mouth. A lot of fine tannins. Delicious and seductive to drink now, but the tannin structure suggests many more years in the cellar.

January 15, 2020 - limited notes overall but a very gorgeous bouquet which drank very smoothly and that was as much savory as fruity. Showing well today with a decant but has plenty of life left and may even additionally evolve with time.

    December 28, 2019 - Decanted 1hour.
    Very sophisticated.
Dried berry, wet stone, clay, dirt, damp forest, wet animal, flinty, with quite a bit of acid. Well structured wine. I do wish for a bit more weight. After 2 hours, the wine is opening up well. Much longer finish, less acid. I can see this will be a very good wine, just missing a little something that would make it exceptional. Might want a longer decant at this time. Very enjoyable wine.
