October 7, 2023 - Pulls punch above its price point. Typical Sonoma balance. Great fruit with great backbone and structure. Bedrock makes some wonderful wines.

August 14, 2023 - Really nice cab. Easy to drink and old-school in its approach.

May 23, 2023 - Opened, poured and let sit about 35 min: Then: Pretty much like my 1/6/23 and 3/1/23 notes. Followed over about 45 min and the fruit seemed to come out a bit more towards the end, but still lacking cabernet profile. I was going to wait longer to drink this bottle, my last, but don't think it will improve enough, if any, to warrant to wait. The 2017 and 2018 Bedrock cabernets have not been worth the price, even though it was relatively modest.

March 21, 2023 - Like someone else stated, "more dark and brooding than I was expecting". Was hoping for something a little more light and elegant and yet this is still very Bedrock in it's expression and overall a solid red wine with my charred ribeye. Solid effort and will age for years as this has plenty of tannins for the long haul. If you drink it in it's youth than I suggest a big steak or lamb chop as it would crush your chicken or poultry dish.

March 1, 2023 - Opened, poured and let sit about 1 hr. Then: Pretty much the same as my 1/6/2023 note. I guess I didn't recall my note to wait a year from 1/6 to open this bottle, but I don't think it would have helped the wine if I had waited.
