March 2, 2024 - More redddish in color than your typical California CS. However, the nose reverts to the mean--definitely dark fruit aromas. Sure enough dark fruit one the tongue. However, it is a gentle sensation of blackberry or currant--definitely, not a California CS fruit bomb. Some citric sensation on the tip of the tongue. Still noticeable tannin. A moderate but very pleasant and seemingly non-alcoholic finish,

July 17, 2023 - Too young, but nice balance and profile gives me hope. Will wait 5 years before the next one, and then have high hopes!

July 7, 2023 - Nose of black berry and black ink and dusty gravel, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, mouth filling fruit, too young, needs 3 years to show well, same result for all 3 nights, pricey, live and learn, medium/long finish.

June 28, 2023 - Nose of black berry, dusty gravel, and herbs, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, mouth filling fruit, fairly rich fruit, needs 3 years to peak, better than the last bottle tasted, try this if you prefer subtle to overpowering cabernet sauvignon, medium/long finish and pleasant aftertaste.

March 22, 2022 - Opened and nice nose of black berry and black ink and dusty gravel, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, mouth filling fruit, fairly rich fruit, too young, needs 3 years to show well, definitely has improved since last tasted, enjoyed over 2 nights, let this decant for 3 years to reach its potential, will reward cellar time, this is for those who love subtlety and elegance rather than power in a Cabernet Sauvignon, pricey at $60 but there is hope here, medium/long finish, photo uploaded.

January 11, 2022 - Disappointed, people seem to rave about bedrock. This is first one I have tried. Not a bad wine maybe just didn’t live up to unrealistic expectations. Just seemed like a standard Napa cab. Didn’t find anything particularly great or particularly bad. Maybe it’s shut down. Some dark fruits, vanilla, don’t really feel a whole lot going on. For this price range I have no shortage of options I like a lot more.
