January 7, 2022 - Nice easy drinker. Not a standout but good second wine of the night.

June 16, 2021 - I love this producer and wine. I decided to open a bottle, albeit a little young. Tasted as good as previous vintages. Blackberry, black cherry, chocolate, cassis. Excellent body and finish.

June 11, 2021 - Don’t, don’t, don’t PnP this sucker. Super closed off and mediocre right when it opened. After a couple of hours of air you get all the good stuff—cassis, dark cherry, herbs, tobacco, oak, and a little leather. Maybe even some tea in there. Medium plus tannins, but they’re not overwhelming. Long finish. Good wine that probably won’t hit peak for at least five years. 91 right now, but 92-94 in the future.

April 15, 2021 - Black fruit, sleek stylish, a bit closed up right now. Not hard though, just tight. Great structure to it.

February 6, 2021 - PnP and followed for a day. Lovely aromas of blue and black berry, cassis, raspberry, smoke, herbs, something that reminds me of sweat, cedar, and earth. Blackberries, tart cherries, plum, red cherries, chocolate, earth, herbs, a little graphite, and some oak on the palate. Nice acidity, chewy tannins, medium-long finish. Tasty. I like how the red fruits weave through the dark notes, giving this wine lift. The tannins and oak need some time to meld, but this is really quite drinkable right now. 91-92
