August 14, 2023 - Has a natural wine vibe, with a little cider vinegar note along with over-ripe strawberry, ripe red cherry, fruit leather, balsamic vinegar, some fresh oregano, and faint barnyard. Acid is M+. Tannins are M/M+ with a grippy texture. A little haze in the glass, otherwise pale ruby color with a little garnet beginning to develop. It's leaning more natural and old-world in style. Intensity is M. Concentration is M-. Nice complexity, M/M+. Tannins are a little high for the level of ripeness, intensity, and concentration.

September 24, 2022 - A quick decant to start. Mid weight, some raspberry and cherry, a little spice. Delicious. Probably a couple more years before it really hits its stride.

March 22, 2022 - Opened 7 hours ahead. Great nose with plenty of red fruits and spice. Great acid and tannins - plenty of structure. Cranberry and cherry notes on the light to medium bodied palate. Long finish. My first Goodfellow so I had to try it now. Still very young, best from 2024. 92+ points

February 14, 2022 - No formal note, this wine is al about structure, with popping acidity that carries the light cherry/cranberry fruit a long ways, pairs very well with lighter fare like salmon.

February 6, 2021 - wild berries, asian spices, dark rocky minerality, tea, a touch of funk and some vanilla. really good but in need of time in the cellar. I would try to wait 3 to 4 more years and seems like a 15+ year wine to me.
