Decisamente lungo. Molto sedimento. Bel Brunello invecchiato bene.

October 9, 2020 - Still rather young for a sinewy, transparent, high octane Brunello. This is the real deal and not a fruitfu**er :-)

March 16, 2019 - Wine is a few years past it's prime. Was excellent for the first 30 minutes and then went 1 dimensional and flat.

October 9, 2016 - 4 hour ox, quick decant. Very fresh with acid backbone and good fruit. Vertical and velvety with good length.

    Very good older Brunello.

December 28, 2015 - Wow, this is exactly what aged Brunello should taste like. Rich cherry and savory, sweet spices with just the right amount of texture. Neither too big nor too light. Just perfect for a 1995 that very few people seem to have tried or heard of. It required about 1/2 hour to start to open up, and then we loved it. Drink in the next ~3 years.

November 24, 2013 - Opened with a quite tannic nose and palette, that improved over the course of the evening. I eventually rated it as well as the 2004 Le Stanze Del Poliziano or the 1999 Campogiovanni San Felice.

May 15, 2011 - Decanted about 2pm and immediately recognized that it was ready to go. Rebottled(Double Decanted). Perfect with Mario's Pasta w Roasted Tomatoes. We easily drank the bottle and loved it. We purchased it at the Antinori property near Panzano on 10/11/2001. I believe this is the inaugaural vintage. In a perfect mature spot right now. Excellent bouquet, beautiful slight anise finish.
