January 10, 2010 - Very dark, almost black to a thin rim. Nose is quite close but opens a little to give chocolates and winter fruits. The taste is blackcurrant and very fruits with chewy tannins and pronounced acidity, providing a very long finish. It's a food wine, great with a beef casserole, that is good now but will improve with time.
