February 12, 2012 - Very dark. Dark berries, vanilla and black pepper on the nose. No signs of age. Tannic and with high acidity.

November 21, 2011 - Rich red purple in the glass, nose of black currants and blackberries. Tannins are resolving nicely making for a very pleasant drink. Another year or two and it will be prime.

January 10, 2010 - Very dark, almost black to a thin rim. Nose is quite close but opens a little to give chocolates and winter fruits. The taste is blackcurrant and very fruits with chewy tannins and pronounced acidity, providing a very long finish. It's a food wine, great with a beef casserole, that is good now but will improve with time.
