November 24, 2023 - Samples from Bill #9/10/11; 11/23/2023-11/25/2023: Funky profile - cloves, meaty brett, herbal undergrowth and graphite. Flavour dips a bit into the metallic brett zone which flattens the rest of the palate. Not really a lot of enjoyment on this bottle unfortunately.

November 11, 2023 - Mørk rød. Intens lukt av solbær, med tydelig alderspreg. Fløyelsmyk smak med mye intensitet. Markante tanniner. En god interessant vin.

October 29, 2023 - Spicy, licorice, cigar box, dried fruit (apricot?).
Medium-bodied wine with great acidity, unmistakenbly present but well-integrated tannins. - 93 Pts -

October 22, 2023 - This is an interesting oldie wine; it has tertiary notes of leather, tobacco, earthiness, autumn crushed leaves but at the same time the fruit remains and gives it a sweet tinge that keeps this fresh and delightful. All in a mid weight frame that is easy drinking. Loved it. Paired with black pepper crusted steaks and green peppercorn sauce. 92pts.

October 15, 2023 - The cork was absolutely destroyed but eventually we were able to drink the wine. A pristine effort to bring a blend to life. In the nose it’s fruity and closed. In the taste there is a rough sour middle part in the taste. It’s a beyond decent effort to make a classic wine but for me it’s simply not worth the money. The imbalances make it a though wine to like and never a threat to (for example) Bordeaux wines as we know it in the same price range. However, as this a wine house of the ages it is an interesting wine that is worth drinking for wine lovers. Never more than a perky wine from Lebanon, this bottle is easy to forget but the price tag remains. It never truly delivered on taste and length.
