May 26, 2021 - Opened for a friend to taste; definitely ripe and rich with cassis and plum, black raspberry and a bit of cherry pie; floral notes and spice underlie this, but mostly fruit at this stage; the palate is nicely balanced and has enough acidity to balance the fruit. Depth is good and I can see this developing nicely. Needs some more time in bottle to really come into its own. Try again in 6-8 years.
