April 3, 2024 - Candie Does Cassoulet (Candie's, Mpls): Ultra pale salmon color. Drank a glass over 45 minutes. Wow, this was on fire tonight. Intense nose with brisk citrus oil, tangerine, strong Mistral sea breezes, river
rock on the nose. The palate offers the same intensity and depth as the nose; focused, fresh, great acid, orange oil, tangerine parfait, sun ripened Meyer lemon, flint and ocean minerality. This was quite blissful and not to be ignored. Not as flashy as Tempier, but really focused and riveting, and on the same level. 92+ to 93pts.
May 28, 2023 - Right on the edge of top aged. But I enjoyed.
June 25, 2022 - Rose's on the Deck: A Summer Party (Matt and Brenda's, Minneapolis, MN): Pale pink color. This was wonderful, classic and expressive of Provence rose. Glorious sea breezes, floral, wispy red berries and sleek stony minerality. Delicate and fresh, summer in a glass. All aboard. 91+ to 92pts.
June 25, 2022 - This, to me, is what great Rose tastes like: Provence in a glass. Simply delicious, with just enough complexity.
February 5, 2022 - Time to drink these. Darkening and developing in a way where I think it’ll lose some freshness and zip and acid the longer it sits. Go time. Already suffering a bit.
November 28, 2021 - 11.28.21 inventory adjust.
September 12, 2021 - Very pale rose.
Slightly faded but some prominent stone fruit still, wonderful balance. Drinks nicely with a chill
August 30, 2021 - My favorite rosé. Had a memorable tasing at the winery a few years back and have bought each vintage since. Only way to find more body is to go the Bandol route.
July 27, 2021 - Excellent rose. Better with a year of age on it than last year. Really tasty and enjoyable.
June 27, 2021 - Wow, this is a damn impressive Rosé. So aromatic and full of tropical fruit and bright energy. Love the mild spritz and long finish, too!
