November 6, 2022 - A little spicy and quite fruity: cherry, mint and a touch of licorice. Light acid. Works well with salmon, Asian and Indian — but certainly also with vegetarian and vegan dishes.

March 17, 2022 - From 75cl, perfect cork, decanted 30 minutes. Unrecognizable from my two previous TNs. This bottle brimming with ripe blackberry fruit, in excellent balance with bright acidity and Blaufränkisch tannic backbone. Quite deep on mid-palate. A good time to open a bottle if you have this in the cellar! 89P

January 20, 2022 - From 75cl, good cork, P+P. This benefitted from being served cool from the cellar and not decanting. Compared to my TN of 12.10.2021: more present and balanced acidity, better-focussed underripe blackberry fruit with a front edge of ripe blackcurrant. Drunk this way 87(+)P

October 12, 2021 - From 75cl, good cork. Quick decant off a little powdery sediment. Tame, low-concentration, low-acid cuvée with boiled-fruit-sweet mid-palate and a lot less character than I remember from the 2014 and 2015 vintages. Perhaps (a bit) better next year? 86(+)?

February 9, 2021 - Inky bright purple, blackcurrant leaf and hay. Quite intense for the style, supple tannins and firm acids. A more dominant style from here.
