September 11, 2016 - Thoroughly enjoyed this wine with ribeye steaks! Upon opening we noted some unpleasant nose (the cork came almost too easily), but the funky nose blew off rather quickly...wine became lovely over the course of our dinner. Wish I had more, last bottle from one of the very early Cinderella offerings I think.

February 19, 2010 - Restaurant pop and pour.
This was a very pleasant, very tasty zin with big raspberry and strawberry jam, and lots of zin spices. Not a monster at all, a generous, lithe, medium-bodied wine. A great example of classic zinfandel.

September 7, 2009 - Huge, ripe nose that leads to a mouthful of ripe dark fruits and a touch of pepper. Extremely well done, and perfect with ribeye.

July 4, 2007 - I bought a few bottles at a fantastic price, so my expectations were not terribly high; nicely surprised by a very spicy nose, hints of pepper surrounding strong cherry and orange, slightly sweet on the tongue with a tinge of tart blackberry, tannins are subtle and soft, very light acidity, VERY zin... this was released at $35 a bottle, I paid almost half that but would have paid release upon tasting. Zin is terribly fickle in CA and this one delivers. Recommended.
