  January 9, 2021 - Rich powerful black fruit, tobacco, cedar. Good intensity, rich texture. But there's a lot of acid that's pinching the finish. 3/4s of a great wine, but it's a little too pinched to really be excellent.

  January 11, 2020 - Last tasted three years ago, it is always fun to open a wine we purchased from the winery over twenty one years ago (for $35) and knowing it has been sitting in our cellar untouched since then. Even better when it has a perfect fill, great color, and was even better than the bottle opened in 2017. This is an elegant wine, very bordeaux like with an incredible long silky finish. Some similar tasting notes to previous bottles, lots of dark fruits, plums, black currants, and black cherries, with leather, licorice, earthiness, and some herbal notes. Very well balanced, nice complexity, and medium to full bodied. Very impressive!

  December 4, 2019 - 30 min decant; still ruby red;nose of cranberries,faint strawberries,minerality; flavors of cranberry, pomegranate, tart red cherries; full bodied in a classical way, not over extracted; great balance, acidity cleans the palate, med long finish

  August 17, 2019 - Enjoyed a 3L with friends- Phenomenal Cabernet. Was still very bright and has a lingering rich finish. The coloration has no “brown” edges in the glass. Plenty of life left in this one. I wish I had several more...
