September 29, 2022 - Baked apple start-to-finish with good weight and length. Layered and complex while certainly fully mature and slightly earthy. This is an old bottle, purchased in 2007, so most likely from around the 2000-2003 vintages.

June 12, 2022 - Purchased in 2007, so unsurprisingly somewhat mature with caramel apple notes throughout. Still fresh enough to easily be enjoyed with bright enough textures, too. Good weight and length. But probably better 5 years ago.

May 14, 2017 - Mothers' Day. Delicious, mature Champagne and, as Champagne goes, a bargain at $50/btl, as this can compete with bottles double the price. Moreover, I'm much happier drinking this than a top vintage Champagne that is 10 years too young. Nice yeasty, moderately rich flavor. Some might want a bit more cut, but I like a rich mouthful of flavor in my Champagne, and this delivers nicely. Yum. Bonnie really likes it, too. Yay!

November 14, 2013 - Our example has been in our cellar for 4.5 years, so it may not be representative. Brilliant light gold. The nose is a bit shy, bright and lemony. The palate is a fine combination of deep vinosity, yeast, and fresh pommes fruit. The finish is bright and intense, but a little short. A really delicious Champagne which encourages the next sip.

October 10, 2009 - Light lemon color. Delicate nose of turkish delight, lemon zest and spices. Good presence and length on the palate. NB: this bottle is very wide; impossible to fit into ordinary racking.

April 25, 2009 - Light lemon color. Nose of sweet bread dough, lemon and green apple. Dry with good acidity on the palate, a bit anodyne but good.

December 15, 2008 - toasty & tasty , nothing earth shattering but definetly a pleasant quaff to warm up the palates for the main event

November 15, 2008 - This had a bit of TCA marring the nose but the palate was still strong to start so we decided to go for broke and drink up before it ruined the taste. Strong and concentrated structure wearing it's Chardonnay with warm buttered bread and citrus. This has teh stuffing to improve for a few years in the cellar I would imagine. Very nice and clean drink now, well made.
