July 15, 2013 - Dark fruit laden shiraz with just the right amount of spice and oak. Good depth of flavors with cassis and black licorice, sweet spices and pepper on the palate. Really smooth and well integrated at the moment. Nice wine.

March 16, 2013 - Much better than our other bottle.

Intense dark fruit: dark plums and chocolate. This time no overt sign of its 15% ABV; sweet fruit front and mid-palate followed by slight bitterness on the backend, decreasing with air time. Good for those who like blockbuster South Australian Shiraz - not us anymore. Tannins in good shape. If we had more we'd be comfortable leaving the next bottle to 2015.
