April 14, 2023 - Like last year's bottle - spicy morello cherry and blueberry on the nose, then much the same on the attack, with a cooler middle section of blackcurrant and a reasonably long finish. More violet and blackberry than last year, still very fresh and lively.
It doesn't have the class and gravitas of the best P-Ls, but this is very good value and well worth seeking out. -

April 12, 2022 - Very enjoyable. Spicy morello cherry and blueberry on the nose, then much the same on the attack, with a cooler middle section of blackcurrant and a reasonably long finish. Over time, it developed other tastes of violet and quite sweet blackberry so really quite complex.
Not the best 06 but a good bet. -

Quite complexe nose with aroma's of blackberries, chocolate, black pepper and spices.
Same on the palate but with some unripe tannins (which won't go away with aging).
Drink now. -
