October 3, 2020 - Chenin Blanc 60%, semillon 30%, viognier 3%, pinot blanc 3%, marsanne 3%, muscat 1%. Decanted for 1h then back into bottle. Drank outside and mildly chilled at that point. Cloudy orange. Lovely aromas of flowers, bitter herbs, bark, a bit of tea, and ripe oranges. Palate starts with tart oranges and then savory components emerge - herbs, tea, bark - with some mild tannins on midpalate. Excellent acids, medium bodied and the tannins add a nice texture. So gluggable and yet, interesting too. Delicious.

July 11, 2020 - Chenin Blanc 60%, semillon 30%, viognier 3%, pinot blanc 3%, marsanne 3%, muscat 1%. Decanted for 30 min from wine fridge. Now closer to room temp. Mildly cloudy orange color. lovely aromas of orange, orange zest, flowers, some minerals and hint of saline. Oranges on palate w minerals, saline, and just a bit of sea air saltiness. Mild tannins on midpalate w juicy, bright acids. Moderately short finish. Alive. Evocative. Different. Delicious. Nicely done. 91. Need to get more next time.

June 14, 2020 - Good fun, very counterintuitive to drink this at room temperature, but it worked out well. Strong orange juice flavours when cold but opening up to more floral notes as the temperature rises. Enjoyable by itself but a good match for a light tofu curry (with pieces of orange, ha!)

June 12, 2020 - STUNNING! Fresh. Complex. Serve this at room temp. The nose is floral from the muscat. The wine is complex on the palate. Very refreshing but big palate presence. Fantastic job Hardy.

May 17, 2020 - Ripe stone fruits - peach, apricots, and a vegetal note too. Medium bodied. complex and layered. This is what I wish more orange wines were: clean, refreshing and elegant. Or perhaps it’s what most orange wines try to be but so often are not...
