June 21, 2021 - Colour med ruby red translucent dark purple hues pink edges bright and clear 15/15
Nose med.+ intensity primary red/blue fruits red fruits raspberry liqueur confectionary, blue fruits blueberries boysenberry, licquorice .rhubarb ,some herbal notes 27/30
Palate med intensity flavour from the nose Rich plush luscious fruits , fresh vibrant acidity , long unctuous cheek puckering finish 42/44
Overall amazing how rapidly it is unfurling in the glass , I look forward to tasting this wine over the next 10 years 9/11

Cellaring
Grenache generally has two distinct stages of aging. The primary stage lasts for two to three years and it is all about the fresh berry fruit characters. The wine should then go through a quieter stage where the nose closes down. It is during this time the wine develops secondary bottle aged characters. This can take from three to five years and is a difficult process to predict and entirely dependent on how the wine is stored. Ultimately, and with the right cellaring conditions, this Grenache can be kept for 20 years.1 person found this helpful Comment -

August 24, 2020 - This wine has a delicious core of raspberry and Satsuma plum fruit. There are florals too and a hint of coal smoke. It is full, rich and layered and has some balsamic tang lifting the long finish. Really good!
