June 16, 2015 - Probably over the hill but still a pleasure to drink. I have one bottle left and I will drink it in three years in order to see the durability of Mongeards Savigny.

April 28, 2012 - Nice, fresh nose of strawberries and a lot of crispy flint. The flavor profile is light and sweet, with strawberry julius and cherry cola blended together...like something you would blend together from a 7-11 slurpee machine. The finish is nice and fresh with smooth cherry cola and pepper. This is a pretty darn good wine and really reminds me of saintsbury brown ranch pinot. Braaavo.

April 6, 2012 - Roasted cherry and cola aromas and flavors, impeccably balanced. Mild tannins and silky acidity bring it all together. The finish is a touch thin, but very enjoyable nonetheless.

December 10, 2011 - Over the last 5 years my wife and I have enjoyed more than 100 bottles of this vintage. In May 2011 we believed it was at its peak and we drank the last one.

By luck we bought 3 more botttles and we just drank one of them. The nose was very familiar to us with its cherries, but the wine had changed. It is no longer light but has matured into a great powerful wine still with an elegant lightness to it.

We will wait one or two years before we drink the next one. Our lesson is, that these relatively light wines have a longer life than we have expected.

April 3, 2011 - Third wind of the night. Delightful wild cherry aromas and flavors, lightly dusted with cola and spice notes.

March 30, 2011 - Deeper in color than I expected from this producer, deep ruby, with enticing aromas of almost jammy black cherry with a dusting of clove or allspice. On the palate, black cherry dominates with hints of violets and cola, and a very light shading of green herbs. Very mild tannins and nicely balanced alcohol and acidity. A little light on the finish or would score much higher, but very well done.

January 23, 2008 - A lighter ruby, turning nearly pink at the rim. Pleasing nose of sugar-coated strawberry, touch of vanilla. Lots of rather sweet juicy red strawberry, fairly simple, medium(-) acidity, low tannin. I was certain this was California Pinot Noir here, maybe Santa Cruz Mountains or Anderson Valley -- ugh. Retasted later, there was more acidity and a bit more tannin gripping on the finish. Not at all green or unripe, this. Tasted blind.

December 8, 2007 - Popped and poured, no sediment. Clear ruby color, and a very pleasant nose of fresh red fruits. Medium bodied, palate features more delicious red fruits, terrific juicy acidity, and a slightly bitter note (which I would guess to be stems?) offering some complexity. Simple, but yummy and the fruit/acidity provided nice impression of energy. Some chewy tannins appeared in the last few glasses. And while there the bitter note was present (it also helped compliment the meal) I would in no way describe this as green or vegetal. No need to decant this, it was just right by the second glass and was a perfect compliment to wild mushroom lasagna. And terrific qpr to boot - wish I had a lot more of this.
